Family: Just FYI, this Brother in the pic on the right (next to Brother Reese aka Easy Moe B aka The Divine Styler) is Parag Rajendra Khandhar (Clinical Fellow at the Community Development Clinic, University of Baltimore School of Law). He swung by the TB HQ to connect w/the Bros. as the plan is for him to, in some manner, assist Taharka w/the "legalise" of transforming itself into a worker-owner cooperative business enterprise--100% owned by those working at TB.
It's been a notion for some years, turning TB into a worker-owner scenario. After mad struggles over mad years trying to figure out how to best slice up the pie, and w/the Godzillian sized shadow of the great recession/depression still spittin' fire on many of all of our realities, we felt this path the best path to take as it truly puts the power/profits in the hands of the people/workers.
There are alternative models that are opposite of the status quo capitalist corporate model of profit maximization at all costs and at the expense of the people producing those profits for a sole owner or group of distant and disconnected shareholders. So, we're rollin' like that in the 1-5, family. A new and non-explotative economy--that's the movement.
Shout out to The Working World alternative financing company and Parag & UB for the guidance and for being down to help TB transform like Voltron!
If you've never heard of Brendan Martin and The Working World, fam, Google 'em, Fb 'em, tweet up on 'em,...etc. Dope sh..!!!
More to come on this.
