Out here in the streets today! Truckin' it down for CASA of Baltimore's 'Art of Caring' event at Area 405!
We're reading the book 'Ice Cream social: The Struggle for the Soul of Ben & Jerry's' by author Brad Edmondson, family. Had the pleasure of seeing him give a talk tonight at George Washington U. this evening. Incredible story! Being a social enterprise we can appreciate this text. The struggle is realer than real out here!

The Brothers had to come out, bare witness and show support by rallying with the March 2 Justice Walkers as they arrived in Bmore Saturday evening!!! Next stop is Washington, DC and a congressional office bum rush with the Justice League NYC's anti-police brutality legislation package!
Gotta thank the Justice League NYC & the entire March 2 Justice posse 4 daring 2 stomp from NYC to DC! They arrived at the Bmore National Urban League and the energy rocked the place!!!
Much love to the ACLU of MD, 1199SEIU MDDC, LBS, and Casa De Md for representing at Saturday night's March 2 Justice Bmore rally! Incredible spirit and vibe! Uplifting, inspiring, and informative!
"power to the people & the beats!" as Chuck D of Public Enemy once said! DJ Wah-Heed heeded those words and followed through on the turntables with songs of freedom that set the tone! Bob Marley, KRSOne, Marvin Gaye and Public Enemy. True Love songs, family!
#March2Justice: Historic Nine-Day March to Capitol Kicks Off!!!
The past week's news of African American men, Walter Scott and Eric Harris, killed by White police officers reminds us that we cannot stop waging war against such institutionalized racism and injustice. There is one activist group making sure this fight continues. Today, the Justice League NYC kicked off its nine-day "March 2 Justice," where participants set out on a historic sojourn marching over 250 miles from New York to Washington D.C..
The Justice League has been instrumental in organizing movements for Eric Garner and other police brutality victims last year and has iconic activist Harry Belafonte mentoring them along the way. The 9-day march was developed under Belafonte's The Gathering of Justice organization.
The group, of approximately 100, is also joined by New York City Council member, Jumaane D. Williams whose face has been at the forefront of many marches and rallies across New York. Williams spoke this morning as the marched kicked off on Staten Island, the home of Eric Garner. "I hear the next generation saying don't forget about us!" shouted Williams.
The Justice League is not just marching with no demands in place. The organization has prepared a three-piece "Justice Package" demanding new federal legislation: the End Racial Profiling Act, Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act (JJDPA), and the Stop Militarizing Law Enforcement Act. The package will be delivered on the final day of marching and protest as the league and fellow activists end their journey on the U.S. Capitol joined by civil rights leaders and legislators.
Walter Scott and Eric Harris are just two new names added to a long list of African Americans murdered by white police officers. In March alone, over 100 people died during encounters with police. The league's work mirrors much of Black America's demands for a better, more just society. Essentially, to stop having to attach our sons and daughters names to hashtags and headstones. While not all agree that marching is the best tool to change, the Justice League has demonstrated its effectiveness in planning that spans beyond the streets.
We'll see you in Baltimore, family!!!

The new Red Emma's Fannie Lou Hamer quote mug.
Fannie Lou Hamer
The Bros. got a visit from the badasses behind Bmore's Red Emma's Radical Coffeehouse & Bookstore recently. They blessed us w/one of their new RE mugs sportin' a beautiful quote from the fearless Fannie Lou Hamer--"Nobody's free until everybody's free."
Best thing we could do was drop big scoops of TB's Dr. Cornel West ice cream flavor 'The Jazz Man's Blues' into the chalice then dig our way out deliciously!!! 😋
If you're in Bmore and aren't up on Red Emma's and what they do then swing through there. They bang....hard! We're big fans!
Thanks for the...mean mug, family!
